Around the world, Lime and clay plaster has been used for thousands of years to add a protective, decorative surface over stone and timber structures. Plaster surged in Europe during the Roman age and has been a staple of Italian design ever since, known commonly as Venetian plaster. The aesthetic continues to be highly desirable among spaces looking to incorporate a natural, hand made element.
Now, modern variations of ancient materials allow us to trowel over a wide variety of substrates, practical for any location. Every step of the way, from applying the base-coat to burnishing the finish coat is done with a high level of intention and detail to achieve the desired look. Proper timing between coats and compression techniques are crucial and can only be mastered with years of practice. Over multiple decades we have gathered a profound knowledge of our materials and working environments allowing us to transform a bucket of "mud" into a repeatable, specified look.

Creating Colors
We work directly with our clients to create colors from scratch. From a brainstorm, to a paint swatch or material sample, we can match anything presented to us.

Raked finishes, skip troweled, patterns and stencils. There are many possibilities beyond smooth walls.
Custom Designs
Using two or more colors or materials to create one of a kind depth and variation.
Metallics
Plasters composed of fine metal shavings and metallic waxes create a stunning effect. Excellent for an accent wall, range hood, fireplace or small space.
Eco-Friendly
Lime plasters such as Venetian plaster and Tadelakt are made of slaked limestone, marble chips, water and pigment. Simple, organic ingredients that create a zero VOC, non toxic and long lasting finish. An excellent choice for future focused construction.
